IPF 760, a 36-inch large format printer: The IPF760 device includes: a new stacker basket and a password protected interface lock. These new features add to this already versatile print solution which is designed to meet the speed and precision requirements of the technical document market. The newly designed stacker basket increases the productivity of these already feature-laden printers by providing the capability to neatly stack up to twenty 24 x 36 inch plain paper prints. The stacking option can be enabled or disabled depending on user preference. A new interface lock system enhances the security functions on the printer and provides an option for administrative control to determine who has access to the printer.

The Canon IPF765: 36-inch large format printer adds to Canon’s award winning line of printers. The iPF765 includes: The new stacker basket, a password protected interface lock and a 250GB hard drive with 8GB dedicated to printer memory. These new features add to this already versatile print solution which is designed to meet the speed and precision requirements of the technical document market. The increased hard drive capacity on the iPF765 streamlines the printing workflow by bearing the processing workload on the printer to increase overall print processing times.

HP Accounting Tool for Tracking Costs and Billing Clients

Lately, many of our clients have been asking us about accounting software for their HP printers. They are looking for a solution that will enable them to accurately track paper and ink usage, as well as time spent printing and scanning. They want this data broken down by client, account, project or internal department. In today's economy, it is beyond wise to keep close track costs and usage of resources. with many firms billing their clients for drawings and renderings on a per-project basis, such a tool is becoming invaluable. Fortunately HP is aware of this necessity and has just such a tool for you!

Unlike most things these days, useful or otherwise, this tool is offered to Designjet users at no charge! But don't let that fool you; this accounting and tracking solution is extremely robust with outstanding features and a very user-friendly interface.

The HP Designjet Accounting Tool provides data on the number of prints made, paper/media type and square foot usage, ink usage per print, print time, scanning time, square feet scanned and more. All this data is automatically downloaded into pre-configured HP Designjet Excel Accounting Reports, which include tabbed breakdowns by general summary or per user, and further, broken down by client or even per project. These data breakdowns can be combined and updated to keep a running track of cost and usage by any of the above mentioned categories over any chosen period of time. You can also program in your specific costs per media type and ink, and these costs will also be calculated.

You can even program the HP Designjet Accounting Tool to send you emails of all data at chosen intervals of time such as monthly or weekly, or after a selected number of prints or square feet have been printed. Of course, you can also pull the data manually anytime you wish.
